<<Carbone uses Giusto
Sucato to realise and exhibit his thoughts. Found ritual items of the past are no longer just a subject for conservation; they become contemporary as "Art
of Memory" and
thus becoming part of present life. Carbone persists in his
pursuit and research for Giusto Sucato, because of his insistence
on analysing his theory and his personal elaboration of items
created by rural artisans he achieves an original artistic
synthesis of past and present.>> More... English version by

Pyka, an architect
from Frankfurt and Umberto Leone, a woodworker from
Selinunte, have lived and worked together since the end 1990.
A happy union: two designer/craftsmen thinking and working
as one. It is interesting not only the mixing and working of
roles that creates these fine pieces of craftsmanship - the
fruit of intelligent design and highly skilled execution -
but mainly the relation that comes from the closest intimacy
between these two artists. More...

Contemporary Sculpture by Nicolo
Di Bella utilises, without a doubt, one of the first artistic expressions from mankind's prehistoric times. The art left by our ancestors is in fact very rich and varied in its expression. Sculpture was conceived of as a means of communication and in providing man with knowledge of himself. Therefore it is the primary and original manifestation of art, as is design and painting. At this point we need to make a distinction between sculpture and other forms of art. In order to understand sculpture one must be able to "see". Seeing is an act which we are not always prepared or educated to do well. Sculpture is a vehicle which allows us to perceive what could be described as revelation or doubt, feeling or drama, beauty or ugliness, tension or hates.
